Abbreviations: K (knit) dec (decrease) P (purl) O (yarn over) sts. (stitches) tog (together) <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3300cc; font-size: medium;\">GAUGE: 7 sts. equal 1 inch 10 rows equal 1 inch <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3300cc; font-size: medium;\">SHIRT BACK: Using colored yarn and number 1 needles, cast on 80 sts. Fasten off Colored yarn, join white and knit 1 row Work in ribbing of K 1, P 1 for 11 rows. With right side facing, drop white, join colored and K two rows. Drop colored, join white and change to number 3 needles. Work in stockinette st ( K 1 row, P 1 row)until entire piece measures 7 inches, ending on wrong side. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3300cc; font-size: medium;\">SHAPE ARMHOLES: At beginning of next two rows bind off 3 sts. Dec 1 st each end of needle every other row twice. Work even on 70 sts. until armhole measures 4 inches. SHAPE SHOULDERS: At the beginning of each of the next 4 rows bind off 11 sts for neck. SHIRT FRONT: Work to correspond to back until armhole decreases have been completed. Now make front opening: with right side facing, K 31 sts. rib 8 sts.( place remaining sts on holder). Turn and keep 8 sts of front border in rib, work in stockinette st until armhole measures 2 3\/4 inches, at the same time forming 2 buttonholes evenly spaced on front border. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3300cc; font-size: medium;\">TO FORM BUTTONHOLES: Starting at front edge, work 3 sts, bind off next 2 sts, work to end of row. On the next row cast on 2 sts over those bound off on previous row. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3300cc; font-size: medium;\">SHAPE NECK: Bind off 13 sts at neck edge every other row 4 times. Work even until armhole measures same as back. Bind off 11 sts twice. Take sts from holder, cast on 8 sts at front edge. Work to correspond with opposite side omitting buttonholes. SLEEVES: Using colored yarn and number 1 needles, cast on 52 sts. Drop colored yarn and join white and K 1 row. Work in ribbing for 5 rows. Drop white, join colored yarn and K 2 rows, inc 4 sts evenly spaced across last row. Drop colored yarn, join white and changee to number 3 needles and work in stockinette st until piece measures 2 inches. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3300cc; font-size: medium;\">TO SHAPE CAP: At beginning of next 2 rows bind off 3 sts. Dec 1 st each end of needle every other row until 22 sts remain. Bind off 2 sts at beginning of next 2 rows. Bind off. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3300cc; font-size: medium;\">COLLAR: Using colored yarn and number 3 needles, cast on 98 sts. Drop colored yarn join white and K 1 row. Work in ribbing for 5 rows. Drop white, join colored yarn and K 2 rows, dec 6 sts evenly spaced across last row. Drop colored join white and work in stockinette st untill piece measures 2 inches. Bind off loosely. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3300cc; font-size: medium;\">FINISHING; Join seams, set in sleeves. Sew collar to neck edge. Sew on buttons. Block to size. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3300cc; font-size: medium;\">PANTS: Using white yarn and number 1 needles, cast on 74 sts. Drop white, join colored yarn and K 1 row. Work in ribbing for 5 rows. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3300cc; font-size: medium;\">BEADING: * Work 2 sts,&nbsp; work 2 sts tog, repeat from * across row. Continue in ribbing for 5 rows ending on wrong side. Drop colored yarn join white and K 2 rows. Drop white, join colored yarn and change to number 3 needles. Work even in stockinette st until piece measures 7 1\/2 inches.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3300cc; font-size: medium;\">&nbsp;SHAPE CROTCH: Work 25 sts and slip on holder, work 24 sts, slip remaining sts on holder. Work center 24 sts for 2 1\/2 inches. Then cast on 25 sts at beginning of each of next 2 rows. Work to correspond with first half of pants. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3300cc; font-size: medium;\">LEG BAND: With right sides facing, using white yarn and number 1 needles, knit 25 sts from holder, pick up and K 20 sts from crotch, pick up and knit 25 sts from other side, K 1 row. Drop white, join colored yarn and K 1 row. Work in ribbing for 5 rows, drop colored yarn, tie in white and knit 1 row.
